In this guide, I’ll walk you through exactly what has been confirmed so far, how to check your result online, and what to do next whether you’re a 9th class student under BSEK or a First Year (11th class) student under BIEK.
Ninth Annual Examination Karachi Board Result 2026
The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has announced the 9th Class General Group Result 2026, and students’ mark sheets have also been issued.
General Group Result & Mark Sheets
The General Group result has been announced, and students can obtain their mark sheets through the following channels:
- Regular students: Collect your mark sheets from your respective schools.
- Private candidates: Their mark sheets are expected to be delivered to their home addresses through the board’s designated process.
Students are advised to confirm the collection or delivery arrangements through their schools or the relevant board channels.
Science Group Result 2026: Why Is It Delayed?
The announcement of the 9th Class Science Group Result 2026 is taking additional time.
According to the information currently available, the delay is related to the e-marking process. Some students did not fill or circle the required options correctly on their answer sheets. As a result, additional care is needed when processing and entering the responses to ensure that the information is interpreted correctly.
This process may require additional time to complete.
Expected Result Announcement Date
The expected announcement window for the 9th Class Science Group Result 2026 is October 15 to October 26, 2026.
Please note that this is an expected timeframe, not a confirmed official announcement date. Students should wait for the final confirmation from BSEK.
What About the Controller’s Appointment?
The finalization and announcement of examination results may also depend on the relevant administrative approvals and responsibilities of the board’s examination authorities.
However, students should not assume that the Controller’s appointment is the confirmed reason for the current delay unless BSEK officially clarifies the matter.
We understand that waiting for results can be stressful, especially for students preparing for their next academic year. We request all students and parents to remain patient and follow official board announcements for the latest updates.

How to Check Karachi Board Results Online: BSEK vs BIEK
Because BSEK and BIEK are different boards with separate websites, it helps to keep the process clear:
| BSEK (9th Class / SSC) | BIEK (First Year / HSC Part-I) | |
|---|---|---|
| Website | bsek.edu.pk | biek.edu.pk |
| Covers | Class 9 and Class 10 | Class 11 and Class 12 |
| Roll number check | Yes | Yes |
| Gazette download | Yes | Yes |
| Mobile app | No App | Available (BIEK app) |
What Should Students Do After the Result?
If you passed: Start planning your next academic step moving to 10th class, or for First Year students, continuing into Part-II or applying to the college/programme of your choice.
If your marks are lower than expected: You may be eligible to apply for rechecking or scrutiny of your answer sheets. This does not guarantee an increase in marks — it only confirms whether your paper was marked and totalled correctly.
If you failed one or more subjects: Both BSEK and BIEK typically offer supplementary or improvement examination opportunities. Eligibility, deadlines, and fees are announced separately by each board, so check their official notifications rather than relying on last year’s dates.
Common Misconceptions About Karachi Board Results
- An expected date circulating online is not the same as an officially confirmed date.
- A viral social media post claiming a result has been announced is not a substitute for an official board notification.
- A slow-loading result website usually means heavy traffic not that your result is missing.
- BSEK and BIEK are two separate boards with different procedures; don’t assume one board’s process applies to the other.
- Applying for rechecking or scrutiny does not guarantee higher marks.
- Passing an exam does not automatically secure admission to a specific college or programme — admissions follow a separate merit process.
What If the Result Website Isn’t Working?
- Double-check you’re on the correct official site — bsek.edu.pk or biek.edu.pk.
- Review the board’s latest official notice for your group’s exact result status.
- Re-verify your roll number and other details for typos.
- Wait and try again later if the site seems overloaded.
- Use the official gazette or app as an alternative, where available.
- If the issue continues, contact the board through its verified official contact details — never a third-party number or unofficial “result service.”
